As we close out 2024, Vote Voiced is proud to reflect on a year of dedicated effort to increase civic engagement and participation within our community.

Our commitment to empowering voters through multiple avenues of outreach has been unwavering, and here at Vote Voiced, we are encouraged by the progress we’ve made in 2024.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ACTIVITIES

One of our key accomplishments and activities as a grassroots organization that we are proud of is our Voter Engagement. At Vote Voiced we successfully engaged over 8,000 through targeted text banking campaigns throughout the year.
These messages were carefully crafted to inform, encourage voter registration, and promote voting in every election.
This direct, personalized approach allowed us to reach a wide demographic and have meaningful conversations with voters about the importance of voting in their community.

In addition to our digital outreach, we mailed postcards to over 50 voters, providing a tangible touchpoint and an alternative way to share important voter information.
​
Our Vote Voiced employees also volunteered to assist other voter engagement organizations in reaching voters. Through these collaborative efforts, we engaged with over 300 voters, informing them about new voting rights in Michigan, such as early in-person voting and the permanent absentee voter list. Real person-to-person conversation has proven to be one of the most effective tools in engaging voters.

Vote Voiced actively participated in all recognized civil holidays throughout the year. We utilized these occasions to not only acknowledge the significance of these days, but also as opportunities to engage voters with educational voter informational content through text messaging and social media campaigns.

We believe at Vote Voiced that integrating voter outreach into these important moments helps to underscore the importance of civic participation as an active voter.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Vote Voiced maintained an active and impactful presence on various social media platforms, utilizing these channels to share information, engage with voters and raise awareness about the importance of voting in every election.
Our strategic voter engagement campaigns allowed us to reach diverse audiences and drive engagement as a voter in every election.

Vote Voiced dedicated significant effort to door-to-door canvassing. Reaching out in this voter engagement campaign to a 100 residents at home. This direct, face-to-face approach allowed us to connect with voters on a personal level, share current voter information, and answer their questions about voting.
​
This tactic was especially effective at reaching voters who may be less active online.

IMPACT AND OUTCOMES

Vote Voiced increased voter awareness about key dates, registration deadlines, and important voter information. We have received positive feedback from voters who found our messages to be informative and helpful.
Our participation in civil holidays, social media campaigns, and in-person canvassing has enhanced our community engagement and our presence within the community. Vote Voiced has built relationships with voters across diverse backgrounds and have become a trusted resource for voting information.

To further our mission, Vote Voiced is committed to enhancing our technology infrastructure. We aim to leverage technology to streamline our operations and improve our outreach to voters, enabling us to conduct more targeted and efficient voter engagement efforts.
This will allow us to tailor our outreach strategies to the unique needs of different voting communities.
Additionally, we plan to develop a user-friendly digital voter information app that will provide voters with easy access to election information, resources, and tools.
This app will facilitate voter registration, offer reminders for key dates, and provide personalized voting guides. By embracing technology, we hope to empower voters with the knowledge and resources they need to participate actively in the voting process.

Podcast Reach and Platforms Vote Voiced continued to expand its reach across two countries, captivating a diverse and engaged audience. Broadcasting on six major platforms—Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Castbox, Google Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Overcast, Pocket Cast, and Radio Public—our content became accessible to a wide spectrum of listeners, fostering a community committed to the democratic process.

At votevoiced.com, our website served as a hub for voter resources, enabling individuals to register to vote, strategize their voting plan, and access comprehensive information. Partnering with key initiatives like Vote Early Day, Election Hero Day, National Registration Day, and National Registration Week, we utilized various social media platforms—TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram—to engage voters and provide essential information.

Voter Mobilization
Vote Voiced took active strides in mobilizing voters through targeted text message campaigns, encouraging individuals to not only register but also execute their voting plans. Leveraging the Get Thur platform, we reached out to nearly 5,000 voters, empowering them with knowledge and guidance on voter protection.
